Residential Fire Suppression System Installation in North Texas
Multipurpose NFPA 13D home fire suppression systems designed and installed by licensed plumbers — built into your home’s plumbing for lower cost and fresh-water reliability. Serving Caddo Mills, Greenville, Rockwall, McKinney, DFW, and 28 North & East Texas counties.

What Is a Residential Fire Suppression System?
A residential fire suppression system is a network of heat-activated sprinkler heads piped through your home. If a fire starts, only the sprinkler closest to the heat opens and sprays water on the fire — usually controlling it before it spreads and giving your family time to get out safely.
For one- and two-family homes, these systems are built to the NFPA 13D standard. Eco Water Solutions installs multipurpose 13D systems, where the sprinklers share the same PEX piping as your home’s cold-water plumbing, so fresh water is always moving through the system.

For Homeowners: Protect Your Home and Family
How a multipurpose fire sprinkler system protects your home, and why it's cleaner and simpler than a standalone system: fresh flowing water through Uponor PEX, no backflow device, and no yearly inspections.
Why Choose a Multipurpose System?
- One set of pipes for plumbing and fire protection
- Fresh, flowing water — no stagnant water lines
- No separate riser room or backflow assembly in most homes
- Installed by the same crew that plumbs your house
- Hidden in walls and ceilings with low-profile sprinkler heads
- Designed with hydraulic calculations for your floor plan
Our Installation Process
- Plan review & design. We lay out sprinkler heads from your house plans and size the piping with hydraulic calculations.
- Permits. We submit plans to your city or county and coordinate with the local fire marshal.
- Rough-in. Sprinkler piping goes in with your plumbing rough-in — one crew, one schedule.
- Inspection. We pressure-test the system and meet the inspector on site.
- Trim-out. Finished sprinkler heads and cover plates are installed after drywall and paint.
Who Needs a Home Fire Suppression System?
Some cities, subdivisions, and builders require sprinklers in certain new homes — check with your local building department. Many homeowners add them by choice, especially on rural lots, lake homes, and custom builds where fire department response can take longer. A sprinkler system may also lower your homeowner’s insurance premium; ask your insurance agent.
What Affects the Cost?
Pricing depends on square footage, number of sprinkler heads, ceiling heights, water supply (city water or well), and whether the system goes in during new construction or in an existing home. New construction is the most cost-effective time to install. Call us for a free quote from your plans.
